Two things i have to give to Netflix's death note 1: the death looks really well done 2: william dafoe was a good casting choice for ryuk. 1 / 2. 114. 35. r/deathnote. Join. • 19 days ago. SPOILER. Rewatching and heard Ryuk mention he has to stick around till the Death Note is finished or Light dies.
So I finished watching the anime for the first time maybe, idk, a couple months ago? One thing really confused me about the way Near was able to expose light. So Mikami writes Takada’s name in the death note and then Light writes it on the scrap he has In his watch a few minutes later and this somehow ruins Lights entire plan and exposes him?

You don't need to suspend as much disbelief reading the manga. 3. The manga doesn't reveal Higuchi as the third Kira as soon as the anime, it gives the reader more time to think things over. The way the manga does it, it feels almost like a who-dunnit mystery, while the anime just kinda throws the culprit out there at an early stage.

I haven't finished the manga yet but am reading it and so far I feel it was worth the buy. I'm the type of person who wants to see every angle of an anime/show I like and the manga, so far, def shows a good amount more than the anime. Lots of small details. I also recommend getting the death note encyclopedia. It's vol. 13 I believe
The second arc broke my heart. Everyday Misa evolved more and more to Lights servant, but she didn't get any attention or even a brief smile from Light. I often listen to the death note soundtrack. When it plays "Misas Theme B", I really have to hold back the tears. I really wish she would be happy in the end.
I have finally finished my collection! how much did all the manga itself cost? Maybe get the japanese additions? What's the little book with the apple on the right? It’s a little book fill with all the rules of the death note. Where did you get it? It came with the box set.
